PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE
Maintenance is essential for ensuring service continuity across highway infrastructure. In 2025, VINCI Highways commissioned Smart Tunnel – an innovative predictive maintenance tool that collects data from various pieces of tunnel equipment – in four new tunnels on the Patras ring road in Greece, ahead of a rollout across all tunnels on the Olympia Odos highway. Smart Tunnel is expected to reduce system downtime by 30% and improve maintenance response times by 25%.
