A world first was achieved on the A10 highway in 2025, when a dynamic charging system was tested with an electric heavy goods vehicle, as part of the Charge as You Drive project led by VINCI Autoroutes and its partners, and provided conclusive results. This technological feat marks an important step forward in the development of ‘electric roads’ and the decarbonisation of road freight.
