In the north of the German state of Thuringia, VINCI Highways hit a major milestone in 2025 in the construction and widening of the B247 federal road, a project carried out in synergy with VINCI Construction. This new road link between the towns of Mühlhausen and Bad Langensalza has been designed to improve traffic conditions for an estimated 15,000 vehicles per day, including roughly 15% heavy goods vehicles. The works are being carried out under a 30-year PPP established with DEGES, the Germany public agency responsible for developing transport infrastructure. The B247 will be the first federal road built and operated under a PPP in Germany. The project represents an investment of €500 million.

In 2025, VINCI Autoroutes invested around €600 million, primarily in building interchanges, modernising and improving networks, and maintaining roadways and structures.
