NOT ALL DISABILITIES ARE VISIBLE
To better support and accommodate people with hidden disabilities, Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport has joined the international Hidden Disabilities Sunflower programme, already adopted by VINCI Airports’ UK airports. Since February 2025, it has made sunflower lanyards available to passengers who have non-apparent disabilities and want to discreetly communicate their needs to airport staff. This initiative complements the existing audio guidance system for people with visual impairments.
